 The Lion and the Storm

A boy once asked a lion trainer,

“What makes a lion different from every other animal?”

The trainer took him into the forest during a storm.

Monkeys hid.
Birds disappeared.
Even elephants stood still.

But one lion kept walking through the rain.

Calm. Fearless.

The boy asked,
“Why doesn’t he hide?”

The trainer smiled.

“Because the storm never decides the direction of a lion.”

Then he added quietly:

“Most people quit when life becomes uncomfortable.
That is why their dreams never survive the rain.”
