In the bustling city of Bangalore,
where every child dreamed of greatness, two best friends, Aryan and Rohan,
were known for their innovative and creative ideas.
One day, their school announced the "Great
Invention Fair", where students could showcase their best projects and
win a Golden Scholarship to the most prestigious science academy in the
country.
The moment the announcement was
made, Aryan’s eyes sparkled. “This is it, Rohan! This is our chance to prove
ourselves!”
Rohan smirked. “Relax, Aryan. We
have plenty of time. What’s the rush?”
But little did they know—their
choices would change their future.
The Two Paths
Aryan, brimming with enthusiasm,
grabbed his notebook and started brainstorming ideas right away. He created a detailed
plan:
✅ He set a timeline to complete his
project in small steps.
✅ He gathered materials in advance.
✅ He gathered materials in advance.
✅ He worked consistently every evening
for an hour.
On the other hand, Rohan, equally
excited, said, "I have plenty of
time. I'll start later." He spent his afternoons playing games,
watching TV, and scrolling through his phone. Every time Aryan reminded him to
start, he laughed and said, "Chill!
I work best under pressure!"
The Clock is Ticking...
Days turned into weeks. Aryan made steady progress, testing, improving,
and refining his project—a smart
irrigation system that could save farmers water.
Meanwhile, Rohan hadn’t even started! He kept delaying
until suddenly—BOOM!
Only three days were left!
Panic struck him like a thunderbolt.
"Oh no! What do I do now?"
He scrambled to build a robot overnight, working non-stop with barely any
sleep.
The Grand Fair
The day of the Great Invention Fair arrived. The hall
was filled with dazzling projects, curious students, and proud teachers. Aryan
stood tall, confidently explaining his project to the judges. His irrigation
system worked flawlessly,
impressing everyone.
Then came Rohan’s turn. With shaky
hands, he placed his robot on the table.
But as soon as he switched it on—BZZZT! BOOM!
Sparks flew, and the
robot’s arm fell off!
The judges raised their eyebrows. Rohan stammered,
struggling to explain his half-baked project.
The Big Lesson
At the end of the fair, Aryan was announced the winner,
securing the scholarship!
Rohan, disappointed and exhausted, realized his mistake.
"If only I had started
earlier…"
Aryan smiled and patted his shoulder, "Success isn’t about working harder at the last moment; it’s about working smarter from the start."
From that day on, Rohan changed his ways, learning the power of planning, consistency, and discipline.
Moral of the Story:
"A
goal without a plan is just a wish. Success comes to those who plan ahead and
work consistently."
